United Way

United Way of Cambridge and North Dumfries, a registered charitable organization, has been a part of Cambridge and North Dumfries since 1940.  We partner with community agencies to give hope, improve lives, and build our communities.

United Way is a source of leadership and support in the non-profit sector, and engages community members in collective action to find long-term solutions to the issues that affect us most.  We raise resources with the contributions of thousands of individual, corporate and labour donors and partners each year, and invest those dollars in the local services and program that will have the greatest impact in the most effective ways.

United Way has reviewed the research, listened to the community and determined community priorities that energize our fundraising efforts, and guide our funding investments in the services of partner agencies.  With thousands of donors, supporters, and volunteers, we are committed to a community that helps those who most need help today, while also building a stronger community for everyone for tomorrow.
