United Ways in Alberta, and across Canada, are working together to provide support to United Way Fort McMurray in developing recovery and rebuilding plans that will best address the needs of the community. You can help support the community's recovery and rebuilding efforts by donating to United Way Fort McMurray.
Your support will be used to help address the community's important social needs, such as, food assistance, trauma and mental health supports, and the rebuilding of Fort McMurray's social infrastructure. United Way will work with all levels of government and community partners to put your donation where it is needed the most and will have the greatest impact - supporting both short-term recovery and long-term rebuilding efforts.
Canadians can also contact 211 for more information about opportunities to help those affected by the fires in Fort McMurray, as well as, support immediate disaster recovery efforts through aid organizations like the Canadian Red Cross.
