Our Community Priorities
We know that Cambridge and North Dumfries face both challenging issues as well as opportunities. Based on community feedback, the knowledge of local service providers and local research, we identified the following community priorities that will help strengthen our community and allow us to have the most impact:
Children and youth reach their potential
Neighbourhoods are inclusive and thriving
Newcomers are welcomed and supported
People are economically secure
The Priorities are big issues and they are also compelling goals! We view each Community Priority as a goal to work towards as a community.
Together we can create long-lasting change by addressing the underlying causes of problems, supporting our most vulnerable community members, and investing in prevention.
