5. We’ve studied the needs in our community and we make sure your donation goes towards meeting those needs.

7. Your dollar goes further with United Way! We use 84% of funds raised to help the community through programs and services funded by United Way. The other 16% goes to administration and fundraising, which is spent training volunteers, coordinating events, helping our volunteers raise funds, and helping companies run workplace campaigns. This level of efficiency stands far above the average for registered Canadian charities. 

8. Today’s issues affect us all - family breakdown, poverty, domestic violence, at risk children and youth. We’re taking preventative steps to address these problems.
